I've recorded a short podcast. It's a trial run, really, but encouraging, as I feel that the extemporaneous bit at the end is superior to the prepared piece that forms the bulk of it. It's about General Robert E. Lee, and I hope you like it. I did it all in one take, pretty much. If the link doesn't work, leave a comment, email, or telephone call, and I'll fix you up.
Broadly speaking, things are going pretty well, though I must still give myself a one on a scale of two. The interview at St. Josephs never went down, and I can't seem to make any money. I'm tucking away about 10 percent of my meager income, but I can't get enough into my checking account to ever allow myself to buy anything besides beer, sandwiches, and the odd video game.
General Lee podcast
Enjoyed the podcast. How about one on Kevin Stevens, or perhaps a lesser known vice president?
Funny you should mention that, Anonymous. I had a dream last night in which I was playing in a playoff hockey game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. I'd shown up late and Kevin Stevens was being a real asshole, talking smack while I laced up my skates.
Interesting you used the words "smack" and "Kevin Stevens" in the same sentence.
There is a great picture of you up at the LFHL website. Check it out.
